Question Pathfinder 2007 Tire Replacement Options

Hi,
I use a Nissan Pathfinder 2007 S. I am due to change tires, all 4 of them. I am thinking about getting bigger tires say R17 instead of the OE R16. Am not sure if per manufacture there are options as with other vehicles.

The Original tires that came with the car is P245/75R16. Can anyone help with with other tire options in terms of size. I drive through several potholes and rough roads and I hate the fall and rise due to the holes.

Thank you
Frederick (Ghana)

the Pathfinder LE came with 17" rims if you want to to stay with the oem

they are like $90 - $150 on ebay each
nissan pathfinder 17" in Wheels, Tires & Parts | eBay

for tires I would recommend Firestone Destination LE 2
they are great tires $112 on tirerack for the 245/75r16
and $154 for the 265/65r17

I would stay with the 16" and you'll love the Firestone Destination LE 2

The "R" in the tire size is the rim diameter. With your current wheels, you must use an R16 tire. If you buy new 17 inch rims, you can then use R17 tires, but the overall diameter will not necessarily be larger that what you have now.

Most had 265/65R17's that had the 17" wheels.
