Default timing belt tension

whats the best way to set tension on timing belt. not sure about the feeler gauge way?

This is a tough one. This is how I do it.

Loosen tensioner lock nut, then turn tensioner clockwise and counterclockwise with hexagon wrench 3 times. Then I check the longer span of the belt and make sure the belt doesn't turn more than 90 degrees.

You twist the timing belt. The belt shouldn't twist more than 90 degrees.
