Default Freezing Cold

I have a 05 pathfinder and the climate control only blows on high. Coupled with the fact that my heater only puts out heat when over 2000 rpm we are getting cold. I am having a difficult time getting answers on which resistor to replace for the blower. there seems to be two but I am not sure which is my problem. Any Help?

Do you have an automatic or manual A/C system?

If automatic is the "Variable Blower Control"

If manual is the "Blower Motor Resistor" same location different name.

Ya I have the automatic climate control. I am getting it figured out I think. The local dealer tells me it could be either causing the problem then the local parts store has the wrong part number for the part so it has been a mess. I got a resistor and tore my dash apart and could find no place for the resistor. I can see the vbc right on the bottom next to the motor. It is just not easy getting the right answers for the right parts from the right people. The dealer just keeps telling me it could be either but "we don't know unless you bring it in and have us look at it" The point of me doing all this is so I don't have to pay to bring it in.
