Default poor fuel economy after accident

My 06 pathfinder le 4wd was in a frontend colision causing about $6500 in repairs. When I got it back everything was as it was before except the fuel economy had gone from 18.8 to 16.4 mpg. The only difference (pre-accident) are Bridgestone Dueler tires that are factory size. The fuel injection system and 4wd was serviced a few months before the crash. The alignment has been checked twice and tires are properly inflated. There are no warning lights or anything that unusual except for reduced fuel economy. Any thoughts on what may be the cause would be helpful.

Are the current tires the same factory size? If you have larger tires now, compared to pre-accident it will be throwing the speed sensor off and also the mileage which is based on the RPM of the wheel.

Will start by checking dragging brakes!
If you running a cold engin you will use 20% more gas! -check how long your engin warm up !?

i checked for dragging brakes by putting the car in neutral going down hill it sped up. seemed normal. leave it in drive on same hill maintains speed or slows slightly. warm-up is a daily 20 mile drive to work one way
