Default 94 pathfinder timing belt

Somewhat of a philosophical question here guys.
I don't know when the timing belt was changed last on my pathfinder. The car runs nearly perfect, good power and smooth. 216K miles.
Should I have the timing belt changed or drive it for a while?
If the timing belt does slip or break am I looking at serious engine damage?
Thanks

If is within your possibilities to change it (money wise), overall the pathfinder is in good condition, and you planning to drive it for la long time; yes replaced the timing belt.

Yes it will cause serious damage.

Also, if you change the timing belt, you should also replaced the water pump.
