Head Gaskets Blowing
I have a 1998 Pathfinder w/128,000 mi. Began running hot in late spring, then diagnosed a blown head gasket-may have been hot before head gasket blew, not sure. Replaced head gasket & milled the head, replaced oil once and again after 300miles. Two weeks ago it blew another head gasket. Codes showed a knock sensor alarm and a #6 spark problem. What can be causing the gaskets to go??

You should get a second opinion. What are the symptoms that make them think is the head gasket and what kind of test they have done?

Head Gaskets Blowing
Don't know what tests they did; i am guessing you mean compression & what else? They did find, what they siad was, a bad gasket, but who knows? They have a scope, which can be inserted to view internals and plan on using it this time. Remember, we had a #6 plug code and knock senor code. But also, it ran good (maybe low on power) for 4-5 months after the gasket repair; no overheating, no signs of milky oil. Thanks for your help.
