Default 2004 Path, how to route backup camera through hatch

Hi Everyone,
I purchased and installed a GPS/Nav system which is working perfectly and the last piece arrived yesterday, a licence plate frame backup camera. I'm trying to figure out the best way to route from the license plate frame, up through the inside of the door, out where the grommet is on the upper left side, and inside the vehicle. I don't see any way to do this, nor how to remove the panels necessary to get in there. Does anyone have any suggestions, or a link to how those panels come apart? Is it reasonable to expect that I shoud be able to snake wires inside the hatch itself so the wires are totally hidden?
