As soon as doors are locked I start key insertion and get flashing hazards but nothing afterwards with regard to switches I have checked all 6 with interior light and removed DS door and hood is there a way to bypass each to see if one is not working correctly

Are you turning the ignition on after the hazards flash?

You need to turn the ignition all the way on (run position) after the hazards flash. Once you have done that you have to press a button on the remote and the hazards will flash again.

Are you sure you have the correct remotes. There were 2 different frequency remotes for that model. If the module was ever changed for any reason you could have ended up with the wrong frequency remote.

Try disconnecting your battery for about 15 minutes. This works sometimes. Usually if you get it into program mode(initial hazard flash) they will program without any problems.

Ok. Try this procedure:
1. open the drivers door and start the truck
2. Turn off the engine then close the drivers door
3. Lock the doors using the power lock button on the drivers door.
4. Insert the key in and out of the ignition 6 times or until hazards flash
5. After hazards flash turn the ignition all the way on to run (not accessory)
6. Press a button on the remote and watch for hazards to flash.
7. If hazards do not flash unlock and relock the doors using the power door lock switch.
8. Press a button on the remote again and watch for hazards to flash.
9. If hazards do not flash turn off ignition and unlock and open the door. Now check to see if the remote is working. Sometimes it will take the program without the hazards flashing.
If you still can't get them to program try turning the key in the door locks and the tailgate lock(lock and unlock all of the locks) and then repeat the steps. If none of that works you may have a bad smart entrance control module.
