Default Wiper switch bad? Rear wiper not working, motor swapped problem still exists

2002 Pathfinder LE

Rear wiper not working properly. When I put it on intermittent it goes half way up then the washer fluid poors out. I then turn it off and it just stays where I turned it off, does not return home. I can toggle the switch between on and intermittent and I can do the whole window but its a pain.

When I put it on full time it does nothing.

I swapped out the rear wiper motor with another one and same thing.
Can the switch be taken apart or checked to see if its working? Other than the switch, the motor and the fuse (which obviously works), is there anything else I'm missing?

I searched but can't find anything.

Thanks

Disconnect the connector at the wiper motor and take a reading while someone operates the switch to see if there is an intermittent signal to the motor.
