Default 1996 Pathfinder Blower Motor Removal

I need to replace my power antenna. The antenna connection and the power source connection are behind the blower motor.

I have tried to remove the motor but it won't just drop down.

IS THERE A TRICK TO REMOVING THE MOTOR TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE ANTENNA CONNECTIONS?

Thanks for any help.

Ron

I don't think you will be able to access the connector by just removing the blower motor. I think you have to remove the entire "Intake Unit" (See Diagram).

Unfortunately I don't remember exactly where the connector is, it's been a while since I have done one of those, but I have attached a diagram that may help you locate the connector.

Thanks for the reply.

The intake unit is what I was refering to as the blower motor and that is what I am trying to remove. But after removing all the bolts the unit does NOT just drop down out of the way.

IS THE A TRICK TO REMOVING THE UNIT?

DO I ALSO NEED TO REMOVE THE COOLING UNIT? I HOPE THAT'S NOT THE CASE.

Thanks again.
