Question 05 pathfinder overdrive kickdown prob

AS ANYONE HAD PROBLEMS WITH OVERDRIVE KICKDOWN PROBLeMS. OVERDRIVE CHANGES NORMALLY AT DIFFERING SPEEDS AND LOADS BUT GRINDS AND GRUNT WHEN DISENGAGING. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING WHEN IN CRUISE CONTROL. ONLY SOLUTIONIS NOT TO USE IT AT THIS POINT.

Default tranny problem....

another owner was having problems with his transmission, he checked the dip stick and looked ok....when he drained the fluid, it was straberry shake looking.
so i would clean the bottom of the tran/pan and drain into clean container, and re-fill if its clean.
what is the color of your tranny fluid on the dip stick?
