Default Mass Air Flow dillema on 2001 Pathy

I know I need a new MAF sensor on my 2001 Pathy but Im not paying 400-500 for an original dealer part. I can get an aftermarket one for 118 for a pathfinder or a MAF sensor OEM for a Maxima for 83 bucks. It was documented on several places the maxima part will work on the 01 Pathybut Im a little skeptical. I also heard the aftermarket/remanufatured parts sometimes dont do very well. Has anybody had any good luck with a remanufactured MAF sensor for a 2001 Pathy? It seems alot of guys have had luck with the maxima part 22680-2y001 for this Pathy but I dont know if its time tested. Anybody got any recommendations? Thanks much. BP

At $80.00 for the Max part it's worth the cost vice the 4-5 hundred for the pathfinder part.I would stay far away from the aftermarket ones a i've heard nothing but bad news about them. I have only installed one aftermarket MAF sensor and it was bad right out of the box.
