Question P0340 with a QR20DE engine

Hi,
first time poster here :) thanks to a lack of capable German forums.
Well I got a 2002 Primera P12 with a QR20DE and CVT-Transmission.
The car ran pretty fine for about 100k KM, but now all of sudden I had multiple incidents with a dying car and every time a P0340 Camshaft phase sensor DTC set.

I could restart the car after a while for 2 or 3 times now, but now it wont start anymore.
Turn over but nothing, and slowly the battery is dying now :(
I checked the Sensor according to Nissans ESM, but could NOT find any chipping or unusual resistance or voltage values.
First is there a way to get the car to limp to the next dealership?
And if really the timing chain is stretched, as assumed by the dealership, is the timing set SEALED POWER Part # KT4036S, or CLOYES Part # 94212S compatible with the QR20DE - as these are for the Nissan Sentra QR25DE?

What about the TSB # 01-074a replacing the ignition coils?
The other TSBs all just kinda replace the sensor and use a new software for the ECM.
But I could not find any info if these also apply to the QR20DE engine. And especially what a P0340 would have to do with the ignition coils.

I am kinda at a loss here.
I appreciate every help I can get.
Thanks Julian

replace your camshaft sensor. use Nissan sensor only.

Thats the funny part, everywhere in America I see that just the sensors are changed, but here (Germany) everyone wants to replace the chain (without guides, tensioners or sensors)

I may try the sensor first as this is really a easy fix.

Any other insights into this?

Default update

As I heard from my mum today (driver of the car), the sensor has already been replaced by the dealership.
I check the static function of the sensor too, according to nissan P12 ESM that I got.
But as I don't have a oscilloscope, no dynamic test was possible :(

So next step is to replace the chain with the tensioner and guides?
What about the lower chain at the crankshaft? Should it be replaced too?

Thanks Julian
