Question NVIS issues

I have a 2004 Z that I absolutely adore. It's my first real sports car, bought is used last year. Recently I've been experiencing issues starting the car. It'll turn but not catch. After about 3 attempts she'll start. I took it to the dealer and, of course, she made me look stupid by not acting up. Hence the guy was stumped but offered to reprogram my key. I was hoping this would do the trick but as luck would have it, that very day she acted up again, no where near the dealership. Go figure.

Googled the issue and discovered that other "fobs" can interfere with my programmed key; computer fobs, payment card fobs and even toll booth transponders. All but the latter I can appreciate since they are on my key chain. But can a toll booth transponder, located on my windshield also be a problem? Further, how can I keep my fobs separated? I keep all these things in my purse and am at a loss as to what "keeping them separated from each other" means.

I appreciate any insight and or wisdom offered.

Does the security light turns 'ON' when the engine is cranking but not starting?

If the light comes 'ON' the problem is the key, but if the light stays 'OFF' then the problem is something else, like a fuel pump.
