Default Nissan Announces U.S. Pricing For 2018 Altima

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan today announced U.S. pricing for the 2018 Nissan Altima, which is on sale now at Nissan dealers nationwide. For the 2018 model year, all Altima models include Nissan's advanced Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) and Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (I-FCW) as standard equipment. In addition, the top of the lineup Altima 3.5 SL receives standard Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) and NissanConnectSM with Navigation and Services, featuring Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™.

The new model year also brings a simplified model lineup: 2.5 S, 2.5 SR, 2.5 SV, 2.5 SL and 3.5 SL (base 2.5 and 3.5 SR are no longer available) and revised option package content and availability. Among the new or revised option packages are the 2.5 SR Special Edition, 2.5 SV Technology and 2.5 SL Technology Packages.

Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) for the 2018 Nissan Altima Sedan:
  • Altima 2.5 S $23,140 USD
  • Altima 2.5 SR $24,200 USD
  • Altima 2.5 SV $25,785 USD
  • Altima 2.5 SL $28,995 USD
  • Altima 3.5 SL $33,510 USD

The 2018 Altima's four 2.5-liter models feature a 179-horsepower 2.5-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine, while the 3.5-liter Altima SL offers a 270-horsepower 3.5-liter DOHC V6. Both engines are matched with a standard smooth and efficient Xtronic transmission with enhanced third-generation D-Step Shift logic.

Altima's premium interior design comes with NASA-inspired Zero Gravity front seats, with leather-appointed seating standard on Altima 2.5 SL and 3.5 SL models. Also available are a 7.0-inch color audio display and Hands-free Text Messaging Assistant.


Standard on Altima 3.5 SL and optional on 2.5 SR Special Edition, 2.5 SV and 2.5 SL is NissanConnect with Navigation featuring Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. Optionally available on Altima 2.5 SL and standard on 3.5 SL is NissanConnect Services Powered by SiriusXM®. The 2.5 Special Edition also features Prima-Tex™-appointed seats, heated front seats and more.

Available safety/convenience features, in addition to Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) and Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (I-FCW), include radar-based Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA).

The Altima 2.5 SR adds an increased level of unique equipment and sporty performance at an affordable price. The 2.5 SR includes smoked headlight and taillight housings, Daytime Running Lights, fog lights, rear decklid spoiler, an 8-way power driver's seat with 2-way power lumbar support, manual mode Xtronic transmission with paddle shifters, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shifter, unique sport interior accents, sport-tuned suspension, and 18-inch sport machine-finished aluminum-alloy wheels.

I'm curious to know if Nissan will release software to update 2016+ Altimas with Nav to be able to use Apple Carplay. this is a feature I've truly been waiting for!
