Default Murano Steering Rack and Pinion Play, Tech Question?

Hi, It's an 05' Murano SL AWD 70K. I recently replaced both loose outer tie rod ends and noticed there was still slight play in the right wheel. I removed the inner tie rod boot and noticed that the rack and pinion shaft moves slightly vertically inside the rack when I apply inward pressure on it. The inner tie rod does not have any play. Is this normal? Is there an adjustment on this rack?

Thanks!

Bushings are fine. With the inner tie rod boot off I can visually see the steering shaft has vertical play/looseness. It's the part that connects in between the inner tie rod and the rack. No leaks and doing what it is supposed to. Should it have any play?
