Default 2005 Murano gas pedal sensor

I took my Murano to Autozone today after having problems in a parking lot with it not moving. They checked it and said the pedal sensor is going. Is this something I need to take it to the dealer for? I would rather not since it is far away and it will be very difficult to get it there.
Thanks!!!

I wouldn't trust the diagnosis from AutoZone, if possible have the dealer or a reputable independent shop check it for you.

Did AutoZone check for engine codes? if they did, do you have the code?

No, I didn't get a code. I will check on it more on Monday. I don't think I should drive it though :) Thanks
