Default 2004 A/C problem

After using the heat one cold morning, the A/C will not blow cold anymore. Went through A/C self diagnosis function. Seems to check out. Also compressor looks to come on. HELP?

Sounds like your blend door is stuck or not operating.

With the keyswitch on and the engine NOT running move the temp selector from cold to hot to cold and see if you hear the servo motor moving the blend door.

I tried it and sounds like the blend door is moving. During self diagnosis function (step 4) actuator test values show the air mix door position(blend door?) on two of the test should be blowing on high and cold. It is blowing on high, but not cold, luke warm. The other four tests are supposed to blow on high and hot. Which it does.

possible small leak in acsystem. have the charge checked. still might be enough to turn on compressor but not enough to create cold air. Start there first.

Well went back to double check the freon as suggested. Must have used the freon tester wrong! Added 1 can and blowing cold. THANKS! Now have to find a leak I guess.
