Your air bag control unit is in "present diagnostic mode." This occurs fairly common on 90's era Nissans. Worst case scenario, the control unit is bad and will need to be replaced or repaired (there are companies that rebuild them). In most cases, you just need to reset it. Use this method to reset:
Open the driver’s door. Note the rubber covered button located low on the B pillar, a button which is pressed by the door when the door is closed. This is the Driver’s Door Switch (DDS). Turn the ignition from OFF to ON. Press the DDS at least 5 times within 7 seconds after turning the ignition switch ON. Turn the ignition OFF. Close the driver’s door. Start the engine. If the airbag warning lamp is still on (or still flashing), there is a fault in the Supplemental Restraint System which must be diagnosed and repaired. |

It's technically not the module, but the "air bag diagnostic sensor and control unit assembly" and it should be located under the center console. You'll need a tamper-proof torx socket, "T50X." The unit from Nissan is probably around $650 or more. There is a company that resets them for $50 that would be worth checking out. Their site is here:
