Default Help please strange engine jerk

Hello, I have a 07 Maxima with 100k miles and this issue just started. While driving my engine is jerking while accelerating. It happens after the engine is warmed up and I have been driving for a bit. When I am stopped it will happen as well if the car is in drive. I have found that when I put the car into Manual mode it will not happen though, and it does not seem to happen if I am in neutral.

Any help is appreciated thanks

Check for stored codes. "Jerking" is often a misfire. Worn spark plugs, one or more failing ignition coils or a failing cam position or crank position sensor can all cause this. Of course, look for the obvious, like splits in the intake air duct, etc.

Could it be a worn motor mount?

Default Could it be a worn motor mount?

I went through this problem with my 03 Max. Was motor mounts. Must be 4 or 5 on the engine. Easy ck. Just rev up engine and have someone see if the engine is trying to climb out of the car. Will also affect transmission shifting.
Of course, I'm assuming you don't have an injector, plug, or coil problem.
