Default Knock Sensor Voltage

Getting a P0325 error code. I was able to pull the knock sensor our and it tests okay. But what should the voltage be going to the sensor? I am getting about 5.5 volts and was wondering if this is normal or should I expect closer to 12.

Thank you,
Mike

The sensor is open that is why the voltage is not dropping to 2v-3v
