Default 2007 Maxima Acceleration Issues

I have had this maxima 07 for alittle over a year. Fixed the prob of all the dash lights poping on and not getting over 25 mph when i first bought it. It just some dirt on a Wheel Speed sensor. (easy fix) then good as new

Now a year later im having a similar issue but no lights.
I sit there accelerating and around 45-60mhp the car feels like it pops into nutural. I can put the gas down and the rpms will max out. But i dont push it that far... lol
That would be reaaaally bad :-P
Soo... it will from time to time pop back in and give me huge burst of speed like it used to accelerate. Its been a constant issue for the past week now and im worried it might be the transmission going out. I even tried popping it into the "manual" and shift but it just messes with the RPMs and doesnt give me any pull at all. I even lose speed and have to pull over because it stops me at around 35mph sometimes.

Haven't taken it into a shop to get looked at yet because im BROKE.
If anyone has any info on this... would be most helpful! Being that im in the army I dont have much cash to waste on this

Unfortunately sounds like the transmission problem. You could start by checking the transmission fluid level and condition. If the fluid smell burnt you may have worn out clutches.

Thanks for the advice. Ill check it asap! I was wondering. If it is a trans issue, would that be covered under the 120k mile transmission warranty?

If you have a CVT transmission, then it should be cover.
