Default 04 Maxima ABS Fusible Link Mystery

Need some input from the brain trust here. I need a new ABS actuator. I performed the service bulletin (remove rear hubs, clean corrosion, cut weep hole, etc. I also verified clean ABS sensor pulses at both rear wheels with oscilloscope.
While saving to buy the actuator (expensive) unit I decided to pull the fusible link so the ABS actuator pump wouldn't come on. The symptoms were, as soon as the vehicle started to move the actuator pump would come on, stop, then SLIP, VDC OFF, BRAKE, and ABS lights on dash would come on.
Here is the mystery. I pulled the block containing the ABS fusible links. However, that block also has the link for the power windows and seat so I decided to plug it back in. After doing so SLIP, VDC OFF, and ABS lights are on all the time, even before the vecicle moves. The BRAKE light still comes on once the vehicle starts to move. I no longer hear the ABS pump run either. I pulled the fusible link block again. I see NO SPADES in the recepticle box for the ABS SOL and ABS MOTOR fusible links. (see attachment) How can this be? I know I didn't break them, as I carefully pulled out the block and examined everything right from the start. I noticed no spades when I went to reinstall the block. If I did break them there would be remnants somewhere. What am I missing here? Pictures are in the attachment.
Appreciate any help.

Rick

It looks like your car has vdc. It is using the 2 vdc fusible links instead of the abs. If you had abs without vdc you would have the spades for the abs fusible link.

Thank you so much for the response. I thought I was going nuts.
Another question. I did drive it for a bit with the VDC fusible link removed. Now that I have replaced the link the VDC, SLIP, and ABS lights stay on ALL the time as opposed to going off after the car starts, and then coming on when I start to drive and after you hear the (faulty) ABS actuator unit pump run for a bit. Are these lights remaining on all the time now because I ran without power to the system and now the system has to be reset?

Thanks

I don't think removing the fuse would cause the lights to remain on. You would have to see what codes are stored.
