Question 2002 Maxima GLE - AC/Heater blower always on high, can't change speed

I'm completley puzzled why the blower stays on high ALL THE TIME.. No matter if i set it to low or high... its the same speed. I can only turn it off when I turn off the whole AC/Heater with the OFF button.
It is very unpleasant.. I have to resort to not using the heater/air conditioner half the time I drive... because its so loud on the high setting...

The blower motor was changed, the little flat credit card type chip that plugs near the blower was changed.

I've even gone as far as to take apart the instrument panel and replace one of the two circuit boards. ( I replaced the front instrument panel one, the one on the right in the picture below)

After replacing the board on the right, the same exact symptoms kept on happening. I would toggle through the speed on the LCD panel.. but the fan would stay on HIGH regardless of what setting. Any combination of AUTO/ECONOMY/MANUAL would not change the fan speed... However, all other settings and options via the LCD panel work.. it's just the fan speed that can't be controlled.

I have high reason to believe that the problem lies in the board that's situated twoards the back, the one on the left... in the picture. I'd like to clarify this before I go on an purchase the second board... or if its a completley different cause.

Is this a popular problem in 2002 GLE Maximas?

Thank you for your time!

Other than a bad control amplifier, I have never seen anything else cause this problem, which is very common on Nissan vehicles.

Did you use a new and an OEM fan control amplifier?

From what I understand the "control amplifier" is the instrument panel with all the knobs?
I ordered from NissanPartsZone.com - I replaced the 27512+A Amplifier Control, I didn't replace the second circuit board though, do you think that might be the problem?

Here is the link to the part details ->

It seems it would be quite cost ineffective to replace the whole plastic box, if only one circuit board is not working correctly...

^In the picture I provided earlier in this post, the 27512+B board would be on the left, inside the white plastic compartment.

The part name is similar, but what you need the is "Fan Control Amplifier".

"Fan Control Amplifier" is the service manual name, the parts book name is "Module Assy" very confusing.

Here is the installation instructions: 2000-2003 Nissan Maxima Blower Motor Amplifier/Resistor Replacement Procedure | Nissanhelp.com

Ah, the fan control amplifier was replaced.. it looks like a credit card with a plug.

Perhaps I should try and order another one just in case, so if it infact does not fix the problem I can return it..

Very odd, I actually went to a local parts yard and swapped 4 more Amplifier controls and 2 control instruments.. and no avail the motor constantly receives 8 to 10 volts... and the wires leading into the motor are often very warm or hot.
