Default My 2000 maxima

Hello everyone.
I have a problem with my 2000maxima. Last Wednesday I drove my maxima 20 miles.I parked the car and 10 minutes pass I started the car and it didn't start.it seemed to me that it was the battery, went and bought a new battery. Installed it and it didn't start. Engine turns but it doesn't start. I was told it may be the fuel pump. What do y'all think.

Does the security light comes ON and stays ON while the engine is cranking? if it is then you may have a problem with the key. If the light is not ON you need to check if there is fuel pressure, If there is is, then the problem is more than likely the fuel pump.
