Exclamation 03 maxima service engine soon

I have a 03 maxima with (SES) light on Service Engine Soon the codes are P0455 & P1448 there are no cracks in the canister itself Iam assuming it is the vent control valve is it possible to change just the vent control valve or will I have to change the bypass valve as well my mechanic has recommened I change the vent control valve & the bypass valve. I looked on a diagram & the parts are 14920A & 14920B on the diagram does anyone know the exact Nissan part #s and have ant suggestions?

Default

P0455 = EVAP Control System Gross Leak Detected

P1448 = EVAP canister vent control valve open

Before replacing any parts check for any damage or missing parts. The P0455 code is triggered when there is a missing (hose, fuel cap) or damage part (hose or canister).
Then the P1448 code is triggered when the system can not tested, but sometimes the vent control valve is not the caused of the problem.

Default 03 Maxima SES light

I had an original nissan gas cap swaped it for a brand new one had the mechanic reset the SES light it hasnt been on since 4 days I have driven over 100 miles. Do you think that is a good sign. The trip says im getting 21mpg also if there is a problem how long does the SES take to come back on?
