how to replace a back up light switch
need some instruction on how to replace the back up light switch. thanks

Hello
:oops: I fail to ask you if you have a manual or auto transmission. (see figure 2) If is automatic the backup light is controlled by the inhibitor switch and it may just need to be adjusted, If is a manual transmission, just locate the switch and replaced. (see figure 1 for location)

where is figure 1 located?? under the hood? or in the rear of the car... can't make out what that is a picture of!?

Would it be the back up light switch or the pnp switch.....i say that because i have a 5 speed....a mechanic i went to said it wasnt the pnp it was the back up light switch...Nissan Tech can u show the skematics for the placement of the back up light switch or is that it above this post?
