VARIOUS NISSAN MODELS; WINDSHIELD SERVICE INFORMATION
When a windshield is being installed the glass primer has to dry (properly flash) for at least three (3) minutes. If the primer is misapplied and touches the PVC carrier of the windshield molding AND is not properly flashed, the molding can become bonded to the glass. With this condition and during extreme temperatures, the molding expands and contracts, resulting in “spalling” (etching/peeling away of glass layers). This can result in windshield cracks over time

Two methods are used to update/upgrade Navigation Map Data:
1. The customer is mailed update disc(s) or SD Card and installs data,

2. The dealership is mailed update disc(s) and the customer must visit the dealership to have data installed.
