2018 Nissan LEAF offers more range, content and technology for lower MSRP than previous generation design
![]() NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan has announced U.S. pricing for the 2018 Nissan LEAF, which goes on sale in early 2018 at LEAF Certified Nissan dealers nationwide. The new 2018 LEAF features a 150-mile driving range2, all-new attractive exterior design, roomy high tech interior and advanced technologies including ProPILOT™ Assist and e-Pedal. It is the first step in the launch of Nissan's new LEAF and will be followed in model year 2019 with a high-power version with increased motor output and battery capacity. The 2018 LEAF S starts at just $29,990. When compared to the outgoing 2017 LEAF S, it adds attractive new styling inside and out, a 40 percent increase in driving range, a 37 percent increase in horsepower, e-Pedal, Automatic Emergency Braking – essentially $4,500 of value – with a price that's $690 lower. The 2018 LEAF SV grade starts at $32,490 and includes the S trim's long list of standard features – then adds Intelligent Cruise Control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. All told, the LEAF SV packs in $5,000 of additional value at an MSRP that's more than $1,700 less than the 2017 SV. At the top of the range, the 2018 LEAF SL starts at $36,200 and comes standard with additional features like Bose® Premium audio system, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Intelligent Around View Monitor and a portable L1/L2 charging cord. Compared to the 2017 SL, that adds up to nearly $6,800 worth of added content in a vehicle priced $590 lower. "LEAF has just raised the bar for performance, innovation, design and features. Additionally, later this fall Nissan will be conducting a six city "2018 LEAF Drive and Discover Tour" so customers can experience the new LEAF before it goes on sale. This tour will feature special events and customizable driving opportunities for current LEAF owners, reservation holders, and their friends and family to experience the all-new LEAF in Nissan's top markets across the country.
