I'm looking to tow a TT with a dry weight of 7555 and a dry hitch weight of 1045 pounds. The titan is rated for a hitch weight of 940 but I'm well below the towing weight with this trailer fully loaded. Do I need to worry as much about the hitch weight if I get a class 4 or 5 hitch? I've read both sides to this story and don't know which is correct. I have a 2008 Crew cab 2x4 long bed with factory installed tow hitch.

Default Suspension Carrying Capability (for hitch mounted racks)

I want to carry a 287lb dirt bike on a hitch mounted rack that weighs 50 pounds. While this is under the 500lb tongue capacity, the rack sites all say that I should check the suspension carrying capability of the vehicle, and indicate that is different than the tongue capability (since it extends from the tongue). How can I find out the suspension carrying capability of the 2008 Nissan Xterra SE 4WD?
