Joshuac0711 unfortunately, I don't have that information, I'm not longer working for the Nissan dealer. I'll try to call my friends.

Hello! I have Leaf of the year 2014 with the same problem. I'm from Ukraine, and no one can answer me about this service bulletin. I understand correctly that I will have to replace PDM?

Hi! If you have the following codes B29C1, P3171, 03170 and p316C, then probably the PDM need to be replaced, really a relay inside the PDM are bad and need to repack it but you need to take out the PDM and replace or repair

Thank you so much! I removed the cover of the unit. I saw the relay on the printed plate where the wires from the charging port come. This is it? I work as a mechanic at a car service. I repair my cars myself, but Leaf worked fine before that. And no one can help ...

I was having these four codes and my issue seems to be in line with this "B29C1 - EVSE • PDM (Power Delivery Module) (Signal stuck high): After charging is completed, AC power source continues to be input even though the PDM (Power Delivery Module) charging is stopped."

I have an AeroVironment L2 EVSE 32a that plugs in to a 6-50nema plug. When my car charges to full and the 3 dash lights go solid, then shut off, the EVSE never stops sending power and it doesn't go back to the ready to charge state.

I took it in to the dealer and they performed NTB16-006, reprogrammed the PDM. After that they charged it to full on their L2 charger and claimed everything was fine. They checked for error codes and there were none. I checked LeafSpy before driving away and there were no codes thrown and car was 100%.

I get home and throw it on my L2 to charge it to full to confirm if the EVSE goes in to stand by state like it should once the car is full. But it doesn't. The car was full and the EVSE still has the Vehicle Charging light on. Even per the AV EVSE manual, the light should start to flash quicker the closer it gets to being done, then once full it should go to Ready to Charge state.

This time the only error code being thrown is B291C 2408 CHARGER EVSE VC-98. The 3 PDM error codes are no longer.
Do I have a faulty EVSE? This is my second EVSE as I already replaced the first one because I thought it was the EVSE. But two bad ones in a row?

I have a 2014 SL, so it is under warranty if I can prove to dealer it is the PDM. Although so far they are claiming car is functioning as it should and suggest EVSE.

How hard is this relay to replace?

Default Error Code

Hi, On my cade the Error was B29C1, Signal Stock Low and finally the Dealer change the complete PDM, after that I open the old PDM and see that are 2 resistances that are open, its no so hard to change but I think that its no the same case, do you have the Technical manual of the leaf? if no, please tell me your email and I send you,

Yeah I have a copy of the manual. I just wish I had the Nissan Consult tool as well.

I just got my car back from shop after bumper replacement and was able to test on another EVSE. The car charged to full and stopped as it should and no error codes this time. So it is looking like I received two defective EVSE units from AeroVironment. Nissan reports no issue when they charged it to full and I was finally able to confirm the same on a different EVSE than the one at my house. For now I will be pursuing another replacement EVSE, probably Clipper Creek this time around.
