Default Need help with 2007 Nissan quest

I just bought a 2007 Quest with 250k miles on it. It takes about a quart of power steering fluid a week to make it driveable.I took a look underneath the motor to see if I could find exactly where the leak was coming from and I noticed the power steering pump adjuster screw or bolt was broken but there is still tension on the belt. I've had this car about a month and a week ago it started making a sort of thumping sound or vibration that gets worst as the rpm's increase. Connected code reader and it's telling me I have a mixture in cylinder no. 2. My question is , does it sound like I might have a timing chain problem on top of everything else or could the vibration be caused by the broken adjuster bolt? I'm low on funds so a little advise would help me figure out the best way to go about fixing the problem and in what order.
Any feedback is appreciated, thanks.

"A mixture in cylinder #2" is not a trouble code definition. What was the exact code? If it is P0302, that would be a code for a misfire at cylinder #2, which can be caused by a number of things, including a bad or heavily worn spark plug, a bad coil pack at #2 cylinder, oil in the #2 spark plug well (bad tube seal in valve cover), a bad fuel injector or an injector circuit issue at #2, low compression at #2 cylinder, to name a few possibilities. A cylinder misfire would cause a vibration such as you describe. If that's the case, pull the #2 coil pack and spark plug for inspection. With the information provided, one cannot say whether there is a timing chain problem or not; the #2 cylinder issue must be addressed and may very well be the only problem as far as the engine.
So long as there is proper tension on the P/S belt, the broken bolt on the adjuster is not a problem and can be replaced the next time the belt needs to be replaced or adjusted.
The leak has to be diagnosed visually. If there is too much oil to locate it, it can either be dye tested or the engine steam-cleaned or pressure washed (carefully). Make sure you replace the fluid with red power steering or automatic transmission fluid, not the clear or amber P/S fluids sold in many auto parts stores, which are usually for domestic makes. Dexron III/Mercon ATF will work just fine!

I apologize for the typo "A mixture in cylinder #2 ." and yes the code was P0302. As far as the power steering pump is concerned i guess I've been using the wrong fluid ( amber colored stuff),dye testing is a good idea i didn't think of that, I'm going to try that. I really appreciate you responding and the advise. Thank you
