After Market GPS system in 2012 Xterra.
Bought a 2012 Nissan Xterra last year with a dealer installed after market ROSEN PIRANHA GPS system. The unit now does not stop talking until you turn the entire system off. The touch screen does not respond to any command and I cannot change the radio station on the preset unless I use the up and down arrows. The dealer says the warranty is out, is there a place I can take this truck to have this unit looked at, repaired or replaced.
Thanks Tony. |

From Rosen's site:
Rosen's normal operating hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Pacific Standard Time). We recommend that you first contact either the car dealership where you purchased your vehicle or the company who installed your system. They will be able to troubleshoot any issue you might be experiencing, advise what replacement parts or accessories you might need and provide removal and reinstallation assistance (labor costs may apply). Dealers are always quick to sell aftermarket accessories to make a quick buck, but, then when the product fails, they want nothing to do with it. Rosen does have support for dealers that sell their products, but whether your dealer knows that or not is anybody's guess. Perhaps you can contact Rosen with your problem and get some help from them: Rosen Electronics, LP FAX: (951) 898-9897 EMAIL: [email protected] Rosen's web site: Rosen Electronics |
