Default TCM also the O/D light is permanently

Is there a way to reset the TCM . My 2007 Nissan frontier is stuck with the O/D light on dash and the vehicle accelerate very slow. How can I clear this condition, I do not want the pay 1500 to the dealer fro a TCM replacement

If the O/D light is ON you should have a shop check for codes, it doesn't have to be the dealer, any shop can check for codes. The O/D doesn't necessarily means that the TCM has to be replace.

On my 97 Pathfinder there is a button on the shifter that controls the o/d see if you have a over drive button somewhere
