MaryJo,

In my Nissan Factory Service Manual, there is a SECTION IP INSTRUMENT PANEL, that explain's how to go about removeing the different section's of the Instrument Panel & Dash by Section's.

I would suggest Googleing 2000 Nissan Frontier Service Manual to get Free Access to The Nissan Factory Service Manaul, OR Join this site and Pay Site Support Due's to get access to the Nissan Factory Service Manual, OR Pay 10 dollar's at, "Reliable-Store.com" to BUY Your Own Copy of The Nissan Factory Service Manual. I paid the 10 $'s so that I would have my own copy and not be dependent on Site Access.

Also You might try Searching on Google for a UTube Video that show's how to Remove The Climate Contral Assembly.

MaryJo,

Sometime's I like watching someone else Winging It. Sometime's it will help me from makeing the same mistake and hopefully Prevent me from breaking these Plastic Component's. If it's something that I haven't done yet, Thinking to myself sometime's, I'm glad it's not me trying to figure the puzzle out.

Nowaday's with the Increaseing Plastic's that we have to deal with, I need all the help I can get to prevent Creating Another Repair Trying to do the initial Repair.

I still hate to admit that I broke off the Plastic Tab when doing the In Cabin Air Filter Install. I just hate the Sound That Plastic Make's when it Crack's or Break's. Lucky for me and other's that Nissan provided a hole to use another type fastener.

The other day a UTube Video showed me how to Regrease a Sealed Bearing. Now when someone say's, "It's a Sealed Bearing and Can't Be Greased", I say, it still may be able to be greased. Not all Sealed Bearing's can be Regreased,, but many can.

Anyway I hope that we have helped a little bit.
