Make sure fuel pressure is within spec (50 PSI), have an exhaust back-pressure test performed to eliminate a restricted or clogged converter, and if that all passes, I would replace the camshaft and crankshaft position sensors with OEM parts. Sometimes one will fail but won't trigger a code yet still cause performance issues.
