1997 pickup air flow sensor location
Please tell me where the air flow sensor is located. Also is there a site I can view Nissan microfiche to find out where parts go (for little or no money). Thanks for your help. I am having intermintant problems with idleing and running sometimes while engine still cold.

Here is the website where you can find all the part numbers and prices: https://parts.nissanusa.com/
The sensor is under the air filter.

Last time I checked, Nissan sold it with the top part of the throttle body and it was really expensive! Even on the aftermarket, expect to pay in the $200 range for just the sensor, alone.

The fan switch is located at the heater control head. Refer part code "27140" at the part diagram linked below:
1997 Nissan Hardbody Pickup (D21U) Control Unit The ECT sensor is located at the top/front of the intake manifold. Refer part code "22630" in the part diagram linked below: 1997 Nissan Hardbody Pickup (D21U) Water Pump, Cooling Fan & Thermostat) FYI, you can get free, online access to Nissan factory service manuals at NICO Club's website. |
