Default 2003 Nissan Frontier Desert Runner SE, will only go in reverse

Hello all!

As stated, I have a 2003 Nissan Frontier Desert Runner SE (2WD) that I recently purchased, and I removed the transmission to replace the rear main seal and input shaft seal. Once everything was re-installed, the truck will only go in reverse, no matter which gear is selected. What are my options for diagnosing what I did wrong? So far, I have re-pulled the tranny to make sure I had the torque converter seated properly, triple-checked the fluid level, ran through the diagnostics for the neutral safety switch, double checked all connections and wiring harnesses. And just to make sure, I pulled the shift cable off the tranny and operated it manually from underneath.
Now I have drained the trans fluid and pulled the pan, but nothing seems abnormal to me from what I can see, the wiring looks good and everything SEEMS to be in place. Any suggestions on what to check next?

EDIT: OK I figured it out. So apparently when I was removing/adjusting the Neutral Safety Switch I slid the "manual shift arm" (not sure what its called exactly) out too far, which let the "hydraulic control arm" (again, not sure what its called exactly) inside the transmission to slip off, which means when I went to shift, it wouldn't actually shift the transmission. SO all is well now after I reattached the arm on the interior of the transmission and re-assembled everything.

Those parts are called the "selector shaft" and the valve body's "manual valve." Glad you figured it out!
