Default 03 Frontier XE CC 3.3 4x4 vac hose question

Was looking my truck over (just got it a few days ago) and I see a vacuum hose that looks to me is pinched and need to know if this is normal or I need to adjust the metal pipe a bit and replace the rubber bit.

It looks to me to be the exhaust gas recirc (EGR) valve control actuator. The rubber connecting tube is misaligned and pinched.

Do I need to carefully bend the metal tube down and aligne it with the solenoid valve and replace the rubber bit?

Pic is included below.

Thanks.

Well, after thinking about this for a a few days, I could not see any reason that the hose was pinched like that so I gently reshaped the hard tube to bring everything in to alignment.

yep, good move! that hose is supposed to have a fluid bend or better yet direct route into the EGR actuator.
