Default Help? 2006 Frontier Trans removal

I am attempting to replace my clutch in my 2006 2wheel drive frontier. I have everything disconnected but the trans will not go past the exhaust pipes. The only way to get to the exhaust pipes is to remove the shield cover, but cant get them out without taking off the fenders. Any help would greatly welcomed.

you have the tilt the transmission down, the motor mounts of the engine will move a few inches letting you pull the transmission out

so pretty much you have to pull the transmission down and the engine will tilt (like the red line in the drawing)

You don't take the fenders off - you take the inner liners off (8-10 screws and a clip) and about 5 mins work - mostly taking the tire off to get at the liner screws.
