Where does this "cluster" of wires connect?
I have a 2004 Frontier and the "ilock" installed by the dealership has stopped working. I am trying to figure out where to reconnect the cluster of wires to. I have removed the bottom dash but haven't removed the bottom half of the dash under the steering column yet. How do I remove it? I called the dealer and they said they would be happy to remove the "ilock" and reconnect the wires but I would have to tow it almost 50 miles. They didn't seem to know where to reconnect the wires since the "ilock" device hasn't been used in a few years or they didn't think I would understand.
Thank you so much for any help that can be given. Kathy |

That connector is not a factory connector and probably connects to the "ilock" device. The wires are usually connect to the wires of the ignition switch. You should connect the connector back to the ilock device and then try to start your Frontier.

Yes, it was connected to the "ilock" shown in the picture. I disconnected it because it is no longer working. It is hard to believe that every car on the lot was installed with a device that messed with the wiring connectors. Where can I find the correct connector and how to wire it? I knew that device was going to cause problems and was a very bad idea.
Thank you |

Follow the wires to where they connect under the dash. Most of those devices just splice in between ignition or starter wires. It is usually as easy as cutting out the aftermarket wiring and splicing the ends of the factory wiring back together.
