'05 Fronty KC 2WD, Front End Squeaks- Sounds Like A Bushing
Are there any lube points for this truck? Trying to isolate a persistent front end squeak. I have heard that spraying silicone oil around the rubber bushing that cradles the stabilizer bar may help stop squeaks. Have also lubed hood hinges. Found that placing 1/4 inch thick closed cell foam strips wedged under plastic cowling in front of radiator has helped some too. Squeaks have been prevalent since bought truck- selling dealer not very useful in determining source(s).

Yep - silicone WILL eliminate squeaks in rubber bushings. Poly bushings too, but poly won't keep it the same way rubber does.
Armor All, and some house brand 'shine juice' potions have lots of silicon in them. But just do one at a time, to determine the problem bushing. And give it a couple of drive cycles to work through the fitting.

Are there lube/grease points that need periodic greasing that could be contributing to the squeaks? Am using CRC silicone oil spray for rubber bushings and white lithium for metal contacts, but can use a heavier grease. Thanks.

There are no grease-able fittings on the 05 frontier front end. Nissan had a service bulletin on the sway bar frame fitting bushings. I replaced mine due to bulging (they weren't squeaking)-it wasn't that diffcult.

My truck just has an annoying FE squeak- hard to locate.
