07 Frontier 4x4 L/B Crew Engine Code P2A00
Have previously replaced driver's side pre-cat o2 sensor from code P0440 six months ago. Used the same brand as original and was good to go for several months. Had another episode of low speed torque converter lock-up/judder @35+ mph(Been going on and off for five years) took to another dealer & they diagonised it and replaced the tranny & fluids. Code P2A00 poped up prior to tranny issue and would reappear after 2 drive cycles or approx. 85 miles--erased code and it keeps comming back?? Anyone else experienced this code and figured out what the issue/s are to be corrected? Any help appreciated--maybe I'm doing the wrong things? Cranky

Code P0440 is an evap system leak code. P2A00 is a/f sensor B1. It could be a bad sensor or an exhaust leak. Check the flange on the front exhaust tube where it bolts to the converter. The flanges usually rust apart at the weld and cause an exhaust leak which can cause that code.
