Default Adjusting P.W. glass play

Is there a trick or certain way to lessen the amount of play the window glass mounting bracket and regulator lift slider have? Inorder to lessen the amount of fore and aft rocking of the glass.

Sorry, it is what it is. I took mine apart and it is as manifactured. I couldn"t see any way to remove the slack without binding the whole thing up.

That was sort of my finding as well. I was hoping someone might know a trick or some sort of tweak that they might have had success with. It's too bad you have to replace the entire regulator instead of replacing just the nylon slide mechanism.
