Thanks for this post and the great pics!
Two questions : 1. Did you install a new manifold gasket before reinstalling the intake plenum? 2. Can the PCV valve be installed without having to remove the plenum (or is it too tight/difficult to do)? Thanks |

I found that the “hardest step” bolt on my wife’s Murano was 13mm, not 14mm. This is the bolt that locks the back of the engine air intake plenum down in the back, near the coolent hoses. Hard but not impossible to get to using a stubby ratchet and 13mm socket. This took me about 4.5 hours mainly because it was my first time. I had to run and get some non-copper based anti-seize too. Thank goodness for iridium plugs so this only needs to be done once every 100k miles! Thanks again. |

What size spark plugs socket I need to use on my 2009 Nissan Murano? Do I have remove everything to do front and rear spark plugs?
