2006 Nissan Xterra V6 - c1130 c1163 p0128 p0420
2006 Nissan Xterra V6 4wd
I had the P0420 and p2a03 codes. I replaced the drivers side upstream sensor and reset the fuel ratio self learning (disconnect the MAF, turn on & run for a few minutes, turn off, reconnect MAF, and turn car back on). I then cleared the code by disconnecting the negative overnight. p2a03 cleared to date (70milese) These codes came back within 20-40 miles: c1130 c1163 p0128 and p0420 I expected the P0420 to go away as I just had the drivers side cat replaced in August 2016, it should not be bad. Other things to note: Recently, it's randomly had a hard time starting. It would crank for a few seconds without kicking, I would stop, try again, it would crank for a few seconds, I would stop, and then it would crank and fire up. It's had no issues at idle or while driving (no revving or bogging down). Battery tested good. No leaks in the fuel line that I can see. Upon start-up, it would occasionally rev and/or a small smell of gas from the back, possibly the exhaust (maybe from the cranking?). Smell goes away almost instantly. I could just throw a crank position sensor at it and see if it all clears? Maybe throw a bank2 sensor 2 and see it clears the cat' code? Run some seafoam to clean the injectors? I'm just at a loss.
