Question help in removing radio and a/c control assy

Can someone assist in how I remove the radio and the a/c control assy? No display for the temp, etc. Nissan dealer said I needed an A/C head assy and the part alone is $900.00.

Until a Specialist replies...I pulled these from your Service Manual Section BF - Body.

Also, this link: Car Stereo, Front and Rear Speaker Removal For Nissan Maxima, Car Audio Installation, Car Stereo Front Speaker Removeing Guide will take you to a site that sells step-by-step instructions $4.99.

Hope this helps...

thanks vpnavy! what you provided was helpful and I was able to succesfully pull the assemblies out. However, still no display. What I found was several bad connections in the a/c control assy but soldering them did not seem to resolve the issue. I did find a transistor, D789, close to the filament tube that appears to have overheated. I'll try to replace it before finding another assy.
