Default Subwoofer not working?

Hello, new here. Just swapped my 2003 Murano SL AWD for a 2007 and I love it. Tried so, so many comparable vehicles (Lexus, BMW, Benz, etc.), but the luxury and power for the money cannot be beat. Heck, some of the $60k monsters were not nearly as enjoyable to drive, or fuel efficient.

One thing - my subwoofer is clearly not working (those bumping Bose beats are eluding me!). Is there a way I can test/fix this issue myself before beginning the dealer service scheduling drama?

Thanks!

I wouldn't mess with anything on your new ride without taking it back to the dealer first. Let's say you followed a set of procedures for testing the subwoofer and verified that it was bad. Let's say the the reason for the malfunction was something shorted out at the factory (i.e., burnt out resister, chip, etc.). Do you really want the dealer to say "it is obvious that you did A and B - thus causing C to burn out." You paid big bucks for your ride - let the dealer "trouble shoot" the problem for now.

You could check to make sure it is plugged in.
