Door locks from key fob and interior switch don't work
A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that the rear driver side door in my 2008 Frontier no longer responded to lock/unlock with the key fob. I had to manually reach around from the driver's door to lock or unlock it. Shortly after that, the driver's door started doing the same thing. The passenger side doors still responded to the key fob or the interior switch. Now, none of them respond to electronic lock/unlock signals. They still make a noise, but don't actually lock or unlock. I can still open the front doors with the key. Other electronics seem to be working ok. I haven't had any recent work done on the truck and don't have aftermarket alarms, etc. Since the locks went out in a staggered way, I'm wondering if I might be having a problem getting the right voltage to them.
Thanks for any advice. Nick |

I would start by checking the connector in the driver's side kick panel area where the harness from the driver's door plugs in for corrosion.

Thanks for the quick reply, mpe235
I'll take a look and see if there is any visible corrosion. Will let you know if I find anything.
