Battery drain
04 armada with a 100 milliamp drain, pulled all fuses i could find no change. Started disconnecting modules and dropped to 17 milliamps when i pulled the black connector from the body control mod. Disassembled the connector and found the drop occured when removing the white 12 volt power wire. Is this common for bcm's to short and over draw. Cant find an accessory wire from the module causing the draw. Also on the poss connect at batt what is the lone white wire running to. Its held down to the poss connector with 12 mm sized nut.

refer to circuit diagram and power supply and ground circuit found in Engine Control manual. manuals are in Knowledgebase section. hope this helps.

+1, schematics are in the knowledgebase section. How do you know 100mA is too much? (and some of these modules need several hours to down power)

I suspect 100mA is probably the norm for most newest cars. Bear in mind the ECM has power all the time and the security system. When doing a voltage drop test with a DMM, 0.1mA= 100mA with upper limit of 0.2mA= 200mA are acceptable level. Above these numbers you have a serious drain. There is really nothing to be alarmed here. For 100mA draw, it takes 10 hours to= 1 amp draw. If your battery is rated 60 amp hour well, you can do the math. Hence we hear it often if we're away for 3 weeks or more to disconnect the battery and I have done just that many times.
